The Texas Longhorns are nominated for Best Team at the 2026 ESPYs after consecutive Women’s College World Series championships — both over Texas Tech. Per ESPN, they are the second program in history to win its first two titles back-to-back. The Longhorns have never won a team ESPY. This is the chance.
Best Team matches them against the Seahawks, Knicks, Dodgers, Aces, Hurricanes, Indiana football, and both U.S. Olympic hockey teams. The résumé is Oklahoma City.
