Eleven Longhorns Land on Preseason All-SEC Football Teams

Eleven Longhorns earned Preseason All-SEC recognition at the 2026 SEC Media Days, led by first-team picks Cam Coleman (WR), Trevor Goosby (OL), Colin Simmons (EDGE), Rasheem Biles (LB), and Ryan Niblett (return specialist), per Texas Athletics.

Arch Manning, Niblett (all-purpose), and snapper Trey Dubuc made the second team. Third-team nods went to Hollywood Smothers, Ryan Wingo, Brandon Baker, and Jelani McDonald.

In the SEC championship prediction ballot, Texas finished second behind Georgia (57 votes to 88) for a projected rematch of the 2024 SEC Championship Game, per the conference office via Texas Athletics.
