Exhibitions (free, Gregory Gym): Minnesota on Monday, Aug. 10, 1 p.m.; Rice on Friday, Aug. 14, 6 p.m. Doors one hour before first serve; free parking at the Speedway Garage, per Texas Athletics.
TV: ESPN announced nine regular-season appearances for Texas across its platforms — one on ABC, four on ESPN, one on ESPN2, three on SEC Network, and one on ACC Network — including five on ABC or ESPN, per Texas Athletics. Early windows already set: USC at Texas (Sept. 2, 8 p.m. CT, ESPN2), Louisville in Nashville (Sept. 6, 11 a.m. CT, ABC), Texas at SMU (Sept. 9, 8 p.m. CT, ACC Network), and Wisconsin at Moody Center (Sept. 13, 2 p.m. CT, ESPN). Later national windows include Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, and Texas A&M.
Season open: AVCA First Serve in Milwaukee — Arizona State (Aug. 22) and Marquette (Aug. 24), both 6 p.m. CT (TV TBA).
