Texas and Wisconsin meet again Sunday, Sept. 13 at Moody Center — the second straight year the Longhorns will sell out Austin’s biggest indoor arena for volleyball.
Texas Athletics announced the date in April. Wisconsin is the program that ended the Horns’ 2025 season in the NCAA Regional Final at the same building. Before that, Texas had won four straight in the series, including a sweep in Madison during the 2025 Opening Spike Classic. The all-time edge still belongs to Texas at 8–5.
Moody worked last year. A state-record 10,899 fans showed up for a five-set win over Stanford. Putting Wisconsin on the marquee is a bet that Central Texas will turn out for a top-five opponent, not just a ranked name on a poster.
Jerritt Elliott returns nine rotation pieces but must replace libero Emma Halter and middle Ayden Ames. The Badgers match is an early read on whether this group can defend home court against the best before SEC play.
General-public tickets are expected later in July. Season-ticket waitlist members got first access in mid-June.
