Alyssa Denham went six innings for the win in her first game action in 655 days. She had spinal fusion surgery in November 2024 after fracturing her back; getting back on a professional mound was the headline before the scoreboard even mattered.
Texas matched a season high with 11 hits. Aminah Vega and Tiare Jennings went back-to-back in the third — Vega’s first pro homer (three RBI), Jennings’ second long ball in two days. Aliyah Binford pinch-hit a homer in the seventh.
